Fact match
A fact match is an AI answer reproducing a specific value from a versioned, sourced record — a capacity, a part number, a compatibility statement — so the value can be traced to where it was published. It is stronger than a citation and still weaker than influence.
How it differs from a citation and from influence
A citation shows the page was linked. A fact match shows a value from it reached the answer. Neither shows that publishing the value caused the answer to change; that needs a controlled experiment, the top step of the ladder at /evidence.
