Answer block

An answer block is a short, self-contained statement about a product — what it is, what it fits, what it does not include — published with its source and the kind of question it is meant to answer. It is written to be quoted rather than read end to end.

How it differs from a product field

A field holds a value: capacity: 45 L. An answer block holds a sentence a model can reproduce: "The 45-litre version, not the 48-litre one sold in 2025, fits carry-on limits on most European airlines", with the page that states it.

Where to find them

Every record at /products publishes its answer blocks as answer-blocks.json alongside the page.
